Trump skips East Asia leaders Summit, sends Tillerson as an alternative

MANILA (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump left the Philippines on Tuesday with out attending an annual East Asia Summit, resulting from delays within the schedule of this system of conferences.

Trump instructed reporters on Air Pressure One which he delivered his ready remarks throughout a lunch with the leaders as an alternative.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson would attend Tuesday’s summit in his place, a senior White Home official mentioned, including the occasion was working too late.

The conferences in Manila have been roughly 90 minutes delayed.
